Everyman

Male cancer affects men of all ages, and as fathers, sons, husbands, brothers and friends, touches many lives. The incidence of male cancer is rising rapidly, yet we still do not know why. Prostate cancer kills one man an hour in the UK and is the most common cancer in men, testicular cancer is the most common cancer in men aged 15-45.  Despite this, and the fact that it affects so many men in the UK, research into male cancer is severely under-funded and is ten years behind some other cancers.

Everyman is a campaign run by The Institute of Cancer Research to raise awareness of and funds for vital research into testicular and prostate cancer. Everyman has set up Europe's only dedicated male cancer research centre to investigate the causes of these cancers, and to improve diagnosis and treatment. For more information about Everyman and the signs and symptoms of male cancer or to make a donation please visit www.everyman-campaign.org or call 0800 731 9468.
